How do you accept card payment via your own website?

Ive done some goggling but still a little foggy on the idea.

Do you need to pay in order to accept card as a payment type on your website or can you do this for free?

Only having paypal doesn't look very professional.

ksleini Card payments or in our developers technical terms we called it a PAYMENT GATWAY is always one of the biggest headach for developers. personally i do not like to work with payments gatways.
Well get back to the point. To establish online payments process in your website you need to first integrate payments service provider. like you just said paypal. There are two kind of payments gatways.

For Domestic Paymets and transections
For International Transections
Since you didn't mention about what kind of your transanction is, i would suggest you to use domestic if you do not requred international one. I have estalish two payments gatways for my indial clients. One implements with domestic one name Yes bank payment gatways while another one was international one, implement with paypal .
Well, the job of payments gateways is to provide intermediam to transfer the data. and these intermediums are provided by private service providers. So you have to pay for implementations. Now the question is how much you have to pay? well it depends what kind of plan you are buying from the provider. Domestic ones are cheaper than international ones. HI there, you could use a third party such as stripe or any of the other available services. i use stripe myself and find it to be everything i need.. Just be sure to check what the commission per transaction is and if they accept a wides range of payment options eg card, amazon and so on. Hope this helps.

Hello, you can use a website like stripe, I do it myself and I manage to pay the way you want, I also looked for something like this for a long time, but I finally found and pay normally
