As I would like to create a software like POS on web application.

my question is:

Should I create only one Database for all customers?
in case I have only one Database, How can I saperate the customer information? by field or table name?
if I have new customer. I need to create new table or information for them?

There are at least 3 methods. Search Google for "multitenant database". I prefer one database per tenant. (One MySQL with many databases)

May differ which database you use. Normally either by different schemas or by an extra key for each tenant.

Do they limit by "database" (MySQL instance) or "database" ("customer database")?

The other option is to use a VPN and you can create practically unlimited customer databases. A $10 VPN can host at least 100 customer databases and up to 25 GB of storage.

If you chose this path, I should use another semantic. tenant, product and user. To avoid future conflict with the tenant's customer ...

sibert they limit the database, as I checked for private host they give only 10 database, maybe limit on CPanel or something

Have you ever considered using VPS? In theory unlimited databases.

sibert no, my POS is very small and I would like to make it cheapest. So I think Shared Hosting is a choice. Just need to manage the data

yes even as cheap as free

some benefits include the "panel" c or h
tutorials designed for the specific host
easy DB creation and management
"one click" install of WP various forums online commerce and other software
"one click" install of ssl (sometimes also free)
and email address (often many) like me@mywebsite.mail

I have a VPS because shared hosting doesn't allow streaming content
i run django behind nginx
i don't believe you can do that with shared
with vps you need to install and manage
a mail server if you want email

but mostly you don't need server management skills with shared

Yes, both you are right. I have share like this
I created a software on mobile app and PHP is the back.
the software use only 4 table for record and only 500records per day.

so the shared host they limit to create only 1 database, then I think I can support many customer if I use only one DB but saperate by table name(the backend is only for API not for web page)

As I checked price, the shared host only 30$ per year(not include domain name because i don't use it)

It totally depends on your total customers. If you have a lot of customers then managing all the customers in single database is quite challenging, that's it.
